The Story Behind Embero

Some people are drawn to the view.
I’ve always been drawn to the fire.

The glow that warms your face.
The way conversation slows when there are flames between you.

Relaxed evenings with your partner, a glass of wine in hand.
Casual drinks with friends that carry on longer than planned.
Cooking outdoors, bringing family together.

Conversations that last longer than expected.
Laughter that lingers into the night.

For me, fire has always been the centrepiece - the quiet focal point that makes it possible to stay outside just a little longer.

I spent years trying to find an outdoor setup that matched that feeling.

Something that looked as considered as the space it sat in.
Something built for British evenings, not just summer afternoons.
Something where the fire wasn’t an afterthought - but the whole point.

I couldn’t find it. So I built it.

That meant working through manufacturers across the world - most of whom couldn’t meet UK safety standards, promised one thing and delivered another, or simply didn’t care about the details.

When I found the right partner, I spent months refining every element of what would become the Solis Fire Lounge.

The frame.
The cushions.
The fire table.
The way every seat is oriented around the flame.

Then I ordered 62 sets.

Because I believed in it enough to commit to it.

That’s Embero.

Not a catalogue.
Not a furniture range.

One set, designed around fire - built for the evenings that matter.

There are 62 in this first run.
When they’re gone, the next won’t be ready until 2027.
